About Me
A Passion for Dogs & Grooming
Hi, I'm the groomer behind Canine Country Spa. Dogs have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember — my love for them is what led me to turn that passion into a career. Based in Kilglass, Co Roscommon, I offer a personal, one-on-one grooming experience where every dog gets my full attention from start to finish.
I'm a qualified, canine first aid certified groomer with a genuine love of learning — there's always something new to discover when it comes to caring for dogs. I use only the highest quality professional products, carefully chosen to suit each individual dog's coat and skin. Above all, the wellbeing of your dog comes first in everything I do.
I work by appointment only, so I can give every dog the calm, unhurried experience they deserve. No walk-ins, no rushing — just attentive, caring grooming every time.

Bath & Blow Dry
A thorough wash with premium shampoo and conditioner, followed by a professional blow dry and brush out.
Full Groom
Complete grooming package including bath, blow dry, breed-specific cut, nail trim, ear clean, and finishing spritz.
Puppy Introduction
A gentle first grooming experience for puppies, helping them feel comfortable and relaxed from the start.
De-shed Treatment
Specialist treatment to reduce shedding, including a deep conditioning mask and thorough deshedding brush out.

A gentle, natural facial treatment that cleanses and brightens around the eyes and muzzle, leaving your dog smelling wonderful.
Nose & Paw Balm
Soothing, nourishing balm applied to dry or cracked noses and paw pads, keeping them soft and protected.
Mud Bath Treatment
A deeply conditioning mud treatment that draws out impurities, soothes the skin, and leaves the coat beautifully soft and shiny.
Aromatherapy Spritz
A calming, dog-safe aromatherapy finishing spritz to relax your pup and leave them smelling fresh and lovely.

Get in Touch
Call or message me to discuss your dog's needs and arrange a convenient appointment time. By appointment only — no walk-ins.
Drop Off & Relax
Bring your dog to the salon at the agreed time. I'll take care of everything — you can head off and I'll contact you when they're ready.
Pick Up Looking Fabulous
Come and collect your freshly groomed, happy pup! I'll let you know how they got on and any coat care tips for home.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a groom take?
It depends on the breed, coat condition and service. A bath & blow dry typically takes 1.5–2 hours, while a full groom can take 2.5–4 hours. I'll give you a more accurate estimate when you book.
What age can puppies start?
I recommend bringing puppies in for their first introduction groom at around 12–16 weeks, ideally after their second vaccination. Early positive experiences make a huge difference to how they feel about grooming for life.
Do you groom all breeds?
Yes! I groom all breeds and sizes, from tiny terriers to large working dogs. Every dog is treated as an individual, with grooming tailored to their specific coat type and needs.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Most dogs benefit from a professional groom every 6–8 weeks, though this varies by breed and coat type. I'm happy to advise on the best schedule for your dog.
Do I need to do anything before the appointment?
Just make sure your dog has had a toilet break before arriving! If your dog has any medical conditions, injuries or allergies, please let me know when booking.

Yes, I am fully insured. You can drop your dog off with complete confidence and peace of mind.
